1960s Ceramic Table Lamps * Lotte Bostlund *

Description

A pair of beautiful ceramic table lamps from the 1960s by Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund of Canada.  Originally from Denmark the Bostlund family immigrated to Canada in the mid 1950s.  Here they began to produce a gorgeous selection of lamps. This particular pair feature a yellow ceramic base. Lamps come with original spun fiberglass shades that were developed by their son Morten and would become one of the distinguishing characteristics of the Lotte Lamp.  A icon of Canadian design from the Mid Century Modern era.
