1960s Teak "Magic Box" Folding Desk Cabinet *Mummenthaler & Meier*

An amazing multifunctional teak secretary style desk from the 1960s referred to as the "Magic Box" and designed by Swiss architects Ernst Mummenthaler and Otto Meier.  Uniquely designed to resemble a cabinet when closed that opens to reveal numerous adjustable shelved compartments, an articulating blue enamel overhead reading lamp and a single drawer writing surface that smoothly draws out from within the unit once open to provide the appropriate work space.  Comes with a set of keys to lock the unit once closed.  Overall very good condition with tons of functionality and unique character.  Perfect for the home or office.

Dimensions (Closed): 32 1/8" Wide x 21 1/4" Deep x 45 1/4" High.

Dimensions: 64 1/2" Wide x 30" Deep x 45 1/4" High (28 1/4" High Writing Surface).
