Layaway

We offer layaway on all regular priced and sale items with a minumum non-refundable deposit of 20%. All layaways must be paid in full by the end of a six month term unless otherwise negotiated. Layaway plans do not apply to consignment items without the written consent of our consignors.

Delivery

We can provide local delivery of single items and a multiple of smaller items for a flat rate fee of $50.00. Delivery for a large amount of items including assembly and display is a flat rate fee of $100.00.

Shipping

We will ship anywhere in Canada and the lower 48 states. Shipping quotes can be provided upon request prior to purchase. We will do our best to find a budget conscious shipping solution to meet your needs. Insurance will be available from your carrier of choice and any damage claims must be filed with the carrier by recipient.

Please beware that items shipped to the USA valued at $2000 or more must be accompanied by the clients Social Security # or tax ID # so it can clear customs.

For other destinations outside Canada and the US please feel free to contact us for worldwide shipping information.

Smaller items can be shipped via Canada Post, Fed Ex or UPS.

For shipments within Canada, buyers are welcome to use their shipper of choice or we can provide you with a quote from our local shippers. We strongly recommend Greyhound Package Express for pieces less than 100lbs and not in excess of 30” X 47” X 82”. GPX quotes are for terminal to terminal.

Storage

To accommodate clients who purchase, we offer complimentary storage to help out while your in-between residences or waiting on posession dates for newly purchased homes. The time period needed for storage must be agreed upon prior to purchase.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Money Orders and Personal Cheques. All cheques must clear before shipping - once cleared we will ship within two or three business days.

Return Policy & Customer Guarantee

At Hoopers we want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. We have over 12 years of online auction experience and we take great pride in describing our items accurately with all flaws and repairs mentioned. No refunds will be issued or returns accepted unless the item is grossly misrepresented, regarding condition,designer or mistaken country of origin. Should you wish to return a item due to mistaken misrepresentation a full refund will be given within 30 days from date of purchase less any freight or delivery charges. Credit card purchases will have a 3% processing fee deducted from your refund. Items will be subject to inspection for damage before a refund is issued. We are more than happy to help our clients prior to buying, so please take responsibility for your purchases and email us with any questions or queries and allow us to help you buy with complete confidence. Rentals

For over 12 years Hoopers has supplied the local film industry and theatre groups with period lighting, furniture, houswares and classic vintage clothing. Please feel free to contact us anytime regarding rental rates, item availability and sourcing.
